Rules of roulette PDF Print E-mail

rouletteThe objective of the Roulette game is to guess  what number and / or color will the ivory ball eventually fall in. Players bet against "House" on the board.

First, all bets are down, then the dealer gives a hard turn to the wheel. The ball is placed on the outer edge of the wheel, and keeps going around.

As the wheel loses momentum, the ball then falls over the slots, keeps bouncing from one number to another, and finally stays firmly in one spot.

Bets in Roulette

Roulette players bet against the "House" on the board. Not throwing the ball on the wheel, as in rotary motion, until the total amount wagered exceeds the minimum bet.

It is important to note that the wheel has its limits and you should be aware of the minimum and maximum bets allowed in the game of roulette.

There are two types of bets in Roulette - the Internal (Inside Bet) and External (Outside Bet).
The six internal roulette bets are:

    1. The straight, simple, also called House.
    2. The split, two numbers, or Semipleno Horse.
    3. The Street, or three numbers, or transverse.
    4. The Corner, or tables.
    5. Five of the numbers. (0,00,1,2,3)
    6. The Line (six numbers).

In addition, there are four types of bets in External roulette:

    1. The simple way:
       a. The Red or Black.
       b. The number: Low or High Number
       c. The odd or even.
    2. The Spine.
    3. The Dozen.
    4. The Zero and Double Zero.

The different bets can be combined as you wish. There is no limit to the betting amount.

After each  game the losing bets are removed from the board and the winners are paid.

Inside bets are recorded as follows:

    1. Straight Bet or Single: You can gamble for a particular number (1 - 36,'0 ','00') by placing a chip in the center of the box with this number in the betting board. If that number turns out to be the winner, then the payment is 35 to 1, ie U.S. $ 5.00 bet if you win your bet of $ 5.00 plus U.S. $ 175.00 (35 x 5).
    2. Split Bet or Two Number: To make this bet you must place a chip on the line that divides two numbers. If the ball ends up in one of the slots identified with these numbers you win. The payment is 17 to 1.
    3. Street Bet or Three Number: This game allows you to cover three numbers in a row with one bet. Just place your chip on the line outside the row of interest. If the ball lands in one of these spots, then you are the winner. The payout is 11 to 1.
